We've sought to help the good folk of the ELCA and her closest partners to be not deceived by the Confusionists (for whom the clear window of Scriptures, Creed, and Confessions is but a dim mirror) at the helm.

I haven't heard of this, although it wouldn't surprise me.

I know of one only, but I know it for a fact, and where it happened once, it is sure to happen elsewhere, and we want to know to what degree such desperate behaviour is taking place.
The incident I know of was a conference meeting, an assistant to the bishop was present. The pastor told me that oddly, she told the group that my fried was right, that many people were going to leave the elca no matter what the vote is.
Leadership knows they have pushed the envelope.
