"The Re-imagining the Diocese effort continues..."

Say, have you noticed that every bishop in a liberal synod says two things: one, we are really rooted in Christ now; and two, we are in the worst financial shape we've ever been in. Funny, huh?
How come God does not seem to bless "re-imagining"?
