Midway through committee deliberations, marriage equality measure appears to enjoy broad support

A randomly-selected committee of delegates assigned to wrestle with a proposed resolution in support of same-gender marriage rights appeared to be leaning toward support of the measure when it broke for lunch at noon on Sunday. However, a last-minute change in the committee's agenda almost certainly will delay a final decision until much later in the day.
