The differences between the "liberals" and the orthodox Christians in the ELCA is clear - and the ELCA has now formally codified its rejection of orthodox Christianity. Those who are faithful, orthodox Christians must leave the ELCA. I heard things like "we need a universal interpretation of scripture" because the "primitive" people of the time cannot communicate with us anymore.
